How checking works
Every result you see comes from a real HTTP request made server-side to the URL you entered. A check records the HTTP status code, the round-trip time, and any transport error. Nothing is simulated and no demo results are generated.
Checks run when you press “Check now”, when you run all due checks from the dashboard, or when an external scheduler calls the server endpoint POST /api/public/hooks/run-checks with the scheduler bearer secret. That endpoint runs every monitor whose configured interval has elapsed.
Data & privacy
Monitors, check results, and incidents are scoped to your account with row-level security in the database. No other account can read your data.
