PulseWatch

Terms of Service

Last updated 25 August 2026

These terms cover your use of PulseWatch. They describe what the service does today and the responsibilities that come with using it.

The service

PulseWatch performs scheduled HTTP, HTTPS and where supported DNS and TCP checks against endpoints you configure, records the results, and shows uptime, response times and incidents. Results reflect what our hosted runtime observes from a single location.

Acceptable use

  • Only monitor endpoints you own or are authorised to monitor.
  • Do not use PulseWatch to probe, scan or stress third-party systems, or to attempt to reach private, internal or metadata network addresses.
  • Do not attempt to bypass the rate limits, validation or security controls on the public checker or the monitoring engine.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and do not share your account.

Accounts that breach these rules may be suspended or removed.

Availability and no warranty

PulseWatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis while it is in active development. No uptime guarantee, service credit or service level agreement is offered, and monitoring must not be relied upon as the sole safeguard for critical systems. Checks can be delayed or unavailable if the underlying hosting or scheduler is interrupted.

Plans and charges

The service is currently free to use, subject to per-account limits. No paid plans, prices or billing terms are in force.

Your data

Your monitors and results belong to you and are covered by our Privacy Policy. You may delete monitors at any time, which deletes their history.

Liability and governing law

Owner review needed: Limitation of liability, indemnity, termination notice periods and the governing law and jurisdiction clause (expected to be England and Wales) have deliberately not been drafted here. These must be written or approved by the owner's legal adviser before the service is offered commercially.
