PulseWatch

Cookie Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

PulseWatch uses only strictly necessary storage. There is no advertising, profiling or analytics tracking on this site, which is why you are not asked to accept cookies.

What we store in your browser

  • Authentication session — required to keep you signed in to your dashboard. Without it the app cannot function. Cleared when you sign out.
  • Theme preference — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • Checker hand-off — if you run a one-off check and then create an account, the URL you checked is held briefly in your browser so it can pre-fill your first monitor. It contains no identifiers.

All of these are strictly necessary or user-requested preferences, so under UK PECR and the GDPR they do not require consent. No sensitive personal data is stored client-side.

What we do not use

No Google Analytics or equivalent, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, and no third-party marketing tags.

Managing storage

You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing it will sign you out and reset your theme preference.

If this changes

If optional analytics are ever introduced, they will be off by default and a consent mechanism with separate necessary and optional categories will be added before any optional storage is set.
